1. Use of the Service You may use the platform only for lawful property management activities. You agree not to misuse, reverse-engineer, or attempt to access data not intended for you.
2. Account Registration To use key features, you must register and provide accurate information. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
3. Subscription & Billing Certain features require a paid subscription. Pricing, billing cycles, and renewal terms are disclosed during checkout. You may cancel anytime, but fees are non-refundable.
4. User Responsibilities You are solely responsible for any content, data, or actions taken under your account. You must comply with local laws, especially regarding tenant privacy and data.
5. Data & Privacy We collect and store data as outlined in our Privacy Policy. We do not share your data without your consent except as required by law.
6. Intellectual Property All platform content, design, and code are owned by Estate Manager. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part without written consent.
7. Termination We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms.
8. Disclaimer & Liability Estate Manager is provided “as is.” We make no guarantees about uptime, accuracy, or fit for purpose. We are not liable for damages arising from platform use.
9. Changes We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised terms.
10. Subscriptions, and Free Trials We offer both free and paid subscription plans through third-party payment providers, including Stripe and Paystack. New users may be eligible for a free trial, as indicated during signup. At the end of the trial, you must subscribe to a paid plan to continue using premium features.
11. Billing & Subscription Renewals Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before the end of the billing cycle. You can cancel at any time from your account. By subscribing, you agree to the terms of our billing partners and our refund and cancellation policies.
12. Failed Payments If a payment fails, your access to premium features may be suspended until the issue is resolved.
13. Changes We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised terms.
14. Age Restrictions You must be at least 18 years old to use Estate Manager. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian. By using the platform, you confirm you meet the applicable minimum age requirements.
15. Content Rights & License You retain ownership of content you submit through the platform. By using the service, you grant Estate Manager a non-exclusive license to store, process, and display your content solely for purposes of operating and improving the service.
16. Third-Party Services Estate Manager integrates third-party providers like Stripe and Paystack for payments, and may use other APIs (e.g., maps, email, or SMS). These are subject to their own terms. We are not responsible for their content, availability, or performance.
17. Indemnification If you use the platform on behalf of a business or as a landlord, you agree to indemnify and hold Estate Manager harmless from any claims, losses, or damages arising from misuse, violations of tenant rights, or breaches of applicable laws while using the service.
18. Discontinuation of Service We may discontinue the platform or specific features. If so, we will provide advance notice and refund any prepaid, unused portion of your subscription.
